PF Flyers, the classic sneaker brand sold at among other places Sneakers N'Stuff, let eleven artists (among them two amazing Swedes - Annika Bergström, mentioned here before and Christoffer Hall) participate in the creation of an Exquisite Corpse project on their website. All artists' contributions, ten second flash segments, were added onto each others, and the last part is to be added this week.

Beckmans College of Design goes Window Shopping at Gallerian, Stockholm November 10–13. Grand opening (by invitation only) on November 9 at 20–01 hrs, with fashion show, presentation of the ”Gallerian Fashion Schollarship” and performance by Jay-Jay Johansson. As usual there’s no info at Beckmans’ site.

Street Market is Stockholms first permanent art, music and design market á la Spitalfields in London. Today at 16—21 hrs, there’s a special event called Fashionstreet, showcasing unestablished fashion designers. The event will recur on November 25 and is arranged by fashion designer Camilla Wellton. If you’re a design student, you might also be interested in Street Springboard. The Street Market is located at Hornstull, Stockholm, unfortunately the site is only available in Swedish.
Fashion designer Stella McCartney has designed a collection for Swedish clothes retailer H&M. The campaign site is now up and running in a sneak preview mode. Full site will be available tomorrow, Octorber 27. The clothes will be available in selected H&M-stores worldwide from November 10. More info on the project in the pressrelease and the image archive.

Fashion Futures (Concours International des Jeunes Créateurs de Mode) is a fashion design competition for students. Some forty students from Konstfack, Beckmans and Textilhögskolan Borås participated in the prestigious competition and ten of them has been chosen to represent Sweden in the finals in Paris on December 15. Their work will be shown in an exhibition at Nationalmuseum October 12–October 30. Vernissage October 12 at 11–17.

PSP Flaunt is a collection of bags for PSP, designed by Nakkna, WE, Lovisa Burfitt, Stray Boys and Bea Szenfeld. Each designer has made a bag in a numbered, limited edition of 100. Available at c/o Stockholm and other selected stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

As part of the Fashion Week, Swedish denim brand Nudie Jeans will have an exhibition at Fellow Designers Gallery, Högbergsgatan 28, Stockholm August 8–September 9. (Opening hours 12–16). Nudie Jeans was founded by Maria Erixon, (former designer at Lee Jeans). Here's an interesting article (in Swedish) about the start-up of the company.
Fellow Designers are Eva Liljefors and Paul Kühlhorn — some of Swedens finest graphic designers. Have a look at their work in their (not recently updated) portfolio and at their business representative Agent Form.

It's the 25:th, which means payday for most Swedes... So here's another shopping link for you. Spunk Design has been around for about five years and sells art, fashion garment, jewelery and accesories. Spunk design was founded by Anna Forsberg and the general idea is to showcase unestablished artists and designers. Anna will move to Beijing for a year of Chinese language studies, so from September 1 the store will be run by Ulrika Jansson and Fia Hjelte. The site is only available in Swedish.

Nitty Gritty unwraps this autumns fashion arrivals and updates their online store. Nitty Gritty is the one store in Stockholm if you're out to get your hands on some handpicked British casual and mod style garment. Brands represented include Lyle & Scott, Stone Island, Duffer and more. The store is situated at Krukmakargatan, on Södermalm and also includes a hairdresser, coffe shop and the outlet department cleverly named ”Needy Greedy”..

Design agency ACNE is starting their own magazine called Acne Paper.
The first issue features a 38 pages fashion report with clothes from Acne, photographed by Peter Gehrke. There's also interviews with Marie Chaix from Self service, the artist Jonny Wooster and Kitsunés and Daft Punks Gildas Loaec and a series of portraits of Swedish artists photographed by John Scarisbrick. The magazine will be published twice a year in A3 format and distributed internationally at the cost of 4 euro. More info at Resumé (in Swedish only).
